To share project files with somebody, you must invite them to join your project:

If your Project Drive contains files you don't want certain members to be able to see, we recommend creating a separate project specially for them. For example, you may have an internal project you invite your colleagues to collaborate on, and it contains drafts / design iterations / confidential information that is only for your own team to see. You could then have a separate project you invite external parties to, and it contains the polished outputs of your internal project, minus the drafts / confidential information etc that could otherwise cause confusion or distraction. This way, you can control the narrative of your project, and present it in its best light.
