New version of VU.CITY 3D now available in Cloud and on desktop

On Friday, 3rd October, Unity Technologies disclosed a vulnerability potentially affecting the vast majority of applications built with the Unity game engine, including ours. This only impacts the very small number of users still using VU.CITY’s desktop applications.

Our Cloud platform is not affected as this environment inherently includes additional layers of protection that prevent such exploitation. You can continue working on all your projects safely using VU.CITY Cloud, including any files originally created using our desktop applications.

For clarity, there is no evidence whatsoever of any exploitation of the vulnerability nor has there been any impact on users or customers of VU.CITY.

We recommend that any users who have installed our desktop applications update them to the latest, patched version available here.
