Data layers
Last updated: 23 December 2025 16:29 BSTGIS data sources can be layered over the city model using Data menu. The available layers vary by city and offer valuable insights to support urban planning and development.
Utilising data layers
Use planning data layers relevant to each city from public and private sector sources to assess various factors such as:
- Proximity to listed buildings or conservation areas.
- Pollution levels.
- Public accessibility.
These layers help in understanding the feasibility and impact of proposed schemes.
Activating data layers
- Each button on the data panel activates a unique data layer.
- Two data layers can be active at the same time, provided they are of different data types (point, line, polygon).
