Using the coverage map

Last updated: 23 December 2025 16:29 BST

The VU.CITY Coverage Map is an interactive tool designed to display the available global 3D modelling coverage. It includes multiple overlays such as 250m² and 1km² tile coverage, council boundaries, and imagery coverage. Utilise drawing tools to select specific tiles, add them to a basket, and choose their preferred file formats for downloads. This map streamlines the quote request process by providing a visual representation of available data, ensuring users can efficiently and accurately select the segments they need.

  • Quickly identify the required modelled areas, streamlining the quote request process.
  • Select specific tiles easily, ensuring accurate data acquisition.
  • Offers multiple file formats for downloads to meet various software needs.
  1. Access the Coverage Map via Hub or VU.CITY website.
  2. Search for an address or select a city.
  3. Explore overlays to identify needed areas.
  4. Use the drawing tools to select tiles.
  5. Add tiles to the basket and review the total area.
  6. Choose the preferred file format.
  7. Submit the request and receive a quotation ID via email.
  8. Await the quote from the VU.CITY team.
  9. Review and decide on the purchase.

The VU.CITY Coverage Map enhances usability and value for professionals in the built environment and sectors like security, telecoms, and advertising.
