Personal Drive and Project Drive
Last updated: 23 December 2025 16:29 BSTIn VU.CITY, every user is provided with two types of storage drives: the Personal Drive and the Project Drive. Here’s an overview of their functionalities.
Personal Drive
Personal Drive serves as your private storage space, ideal for keeping files that are intended solely for your viewing.
This drive is exclusively yours and is not shared with anyone else, ensuring that any documents or data stored remain confidential.
You cannot upload files or folders from one personal drive to another. If you need to share a file/folder with someone else, you will need to upload it to a project drive that the other person also has access to.
Project Drive
Each project within VU.CITY has a dedicated Project Drive. This is designed for uploading any files that need to be shared with colleagues or stakeholders involved in the project.
Files in the Project Drive are accessible to all project members, facilitating seamless collaboration and information sharing.
These two distinct drives ensure that your personal and project-related files are organised and accessible as needed, whilst maintaining the appropriate levels of privacy and collaboration.
Yes, you can upload files and folders from the personal drive to a project drive and vice-versa.
