Measure
Last updated: 23 December 2025 16:29 BSTThe Measure tool is designed to support precise spatial analysis in urban planning, enabling users to measure height, length, location, and area directly within the VU.CITY model.
As measurements are taken, guideline lines appear between the last point and the current mouse position, displaying both individual distances and the total length. When the points form a closed shape, the total area is automatically calculated and shown. Points respond to hover actions and can be moved freely in all dimensions, with live measurement updates.
To refine measurements, individual points can be removed using the Alt key or Delete/Backspace, and pressing Esc cancels the current point placement.
