Auto-Update service

The VU.CITY Auto-Update Service is a companion app that runs in the Windows system tray and helps keep the Revit and SketchUp plugins up to date.

• Windows system tray

  Right-click the VU.CITY icon in the system tray (next to the clock on the right, you might need to click on the arrow to reveal the hidden icons).

  

• Options

  Access the 'Installers' option when downloading the plugins for the first time, or the 'Check for Updates' option to install the latest updates. This is also the alternative way to access the SketchUp exporter.

  

• Select

  Select the plugin to install and follow the steps.

  

Using the Auto-Update Service is the recommended way to install the latest plugin versions, as it also ensures the plugin’s unique licence file stays current.
