Network update scheduled for January 2026
Last updated: 23 December 2025 16:29 BSTPlanned change date: 19 January 2026
A change will be made to the network configuration used by VU.CITY 3D and SiteSolve as part of an underlying platform upgrade. This update improves performance and stability.
What is changing
As part of the upgrade, VU.CITY is introducing Secure Gateway Appliances (SGAs). These provide an additional, VU.CITY-managed access path for organisations with restricted network environments, for example where direct peer-to-peer connections are not permitted.
As part of this update, the networking documentation has been updated to reflect the current set of domains used by the platform.
Updated Allowlisting requirements:
*.vu.cityvucity-frame.web.app*.nutanix.com*.difr.com*.cloudfunctions.netapi-js.mixpanel.comapi.hsforms.com*.auth0.com
More detailed technical guidance, including information on these endpoints, proxy behaviour, and SSL/HTTPS inspection, is available in our full networking articles:
Impact
For most organisations, no immediate action is required.
If your organisation uses restricted network controls (such as outbound FQDN allow-lists, SSL inspection, or restrictive proxy configurations), your IT team should review the updated networking requirements and ensure the listed domains and ports are permitted.
It is recommended that existing network allowlisting remains in place. Adding any newly documented requirements alongside the existing configuration helps ensure uninterrupted access.
